Ruth playing Rachmaninoff's Prelude in C sharp minor, during a piano recital
of romantic and modern works in a musico-literary evening at Schoten Castle
on 13 February 1998, whilst studying for her Masters in Voice
in Antwerp, Belgium. Works of two Dutch poets were featured throughout
the evening, during which Ruth also accompanied a Belgian soprano
to German and Italian repertoire.
